Homemade Pizza

  • 2.5 cups of flour
  • 1.5 tsp yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Corn Meal

Feel free to add any of these to make the crust tastier:

  • Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • Grated Fresh Garlic
  • Garlic and/or onion powder
  • dried herbs, ….

Mix everything together till you get a smooth dough.

Put the dough in an oiled bowl, cover let rest till it doubles in size.Punch it down, divide in 2. Roll one into a round 14″. You can freeze the other half.

Grease your pizza pan with some oil and sprinkle generously with corn meal.

Put the dough on the pizza pan,

 

No cook simple pizza sauce:

Mix 1 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp tomato paste and 2 tsp pesto

 

For the topping:

Use whatever you have on hand, mushrooms, onion, cooked ground beef, roasted red pepper, tomato, olives … and of course the cheese which is usually mixture of cheddar and mozzarella

Bake it at 450 for about 10 minutes and broil it for 2-3 minutes.
