Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread

  • 1 1/4 cup warm water,
  • 3 tsp of yeast,
  • 2 tsp sugar,
  • 2 tbsp of oil of your choice
  • 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour

Mix everything together, cover and leave for 30 minutes.

  • 2 more cups of whole wheat flour,
  • 1 tsp salt

Knead for 5 minutes.

Roll the dough into a 12 x 9″ rectangle.
Shape it into a loaf, pinching the dough at the seam as you roll.
Put it seam side down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Cover with a tea towel and let rise 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350.
Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes.
